The CMF Phone 2 Pro sub-brand of Nothing launched in May 2025 aiming to redefine value in the under-$300 segment with a premium design, clean software and has shown strong performance.

Design & Display

The CMF Phone 2 Pro in our experience is one of the slimmest and lightest devices in its class. It is 7.8 mm thick and weighs just 185 g. The 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate has provided smooth scrolling and bright visuals. It has up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness that has been a great when being used outdoors.

Camera

The 16MP front camera delivers fantastic selfies with the  telephoto back lens,being insanely good for its price range. It may not be the best for photography, but it’s sturdy for daily use.

 Performance

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro processor and paired with 8GB RAM, the phone has managed multitasking effectively. Apps launch quickly and performance remains steady even during long usage while not built for heavy gaming. 

Battery Life

A 5000 mAh battery and 33 W fast charging has lasted a full day with optimizations in Nothing OS that improves efficiency without adding background bloat.

Software (Nothing OS 2.6 / 3.0)

The CMF Phone 2 Pro has begun to receive the new Nothing OS 3.2 update. Running on Nothing OS, the phone offers a simple, bloat-free experience with practical features like app cloning, lock screen customization and a new Private Space.
